The Dance Matrix believes in following "The Golden Rule" while maintaining a drama free and safe environment. We also believe that an integral part of upholding those beliefs in giving back to the community through dance or volunteer work. This is why we encourage charity work and community outreach programs.
November 17th, 2011 7PM:

Sing Song performance benefitting "Prevent Child Abuse in America" for residents and A&M students in the city of Commerce, TX.
Brayden & Kara performed "Party People", Mexia performed "So What", Shorteez performed "Chocolatte" for the first time, Caden & Brayden battled it out hip hop style and our youngest group performed "The Happy Dance".
October 22nd, 2011: 
Wish For A Day at Legends Healthcare in Greenville, TX
We were asked to bring students from our pre-ballet, combo, jazz and ballet classes and perform for a special elderly lady named Louise Tillery that wished for Dance to be brought to the Legends Healthcare nursing home in Greenville, TX. The senior citizens were wowed by our awesome dancers and we were able to touch many hearts through dance. Ms. Toni was featured on the 2nd page of the Herald Banner on October 23rd giving Mrs. Tillery a hug at the Wish For A Day event. Click here to see the link to a short exerpt from the story.

Greenville, TX's 2nd Annual Zumbathon: Party in PINK! for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation
The Dance Matrix hosted and sponsored the event and their D. Edge dance team performed during the half time slot. Food was provided by Chick-Fil-A, CiCis and Andy's Pizza. Prizes were given away by Simply Hair Family Salon, Family Video, Jagged Edge Salon, Red Lobster, Intrigue Salon, Spiritual Drumms, M. Jaded, Big Baby's BBQ, The Dance Matrix, and many more!
July 18th/November 4th, 2011:

July 18th Hunt County Sherrifs found Brandon Herrerra dead due to abuse within the home. Brandon's death has been linked to his two primary caregivers. The Dance Matrix collected Teddy Bears in his memory and donated them to Greenville's CASA group where they lined the court room on 11/4/11 for National Adoption Day.
October 31st, 2011: 


Halloween on the Square in downtown Greenville, TX Members of The Dance Matrix handed out TONS of candy to the community and teen Hip-Hop dancers from classes at The Dance Matrix rocked out Zombie Style to Michael Jackson's "Thriller." A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO: All the people that donated candy, Amber Mitchell's parents for helping us set up and tear down & for letting us borrow their sound system, All the parents of the dancers that performed, and all the people that helped hand out candy and fliers!! We could not have done it without you!!!!
