Morgan Saxon, Jazz/Tap/Ballet/Hip-Hop Instructor

Morgan Saxon, Hip-Hop, Jazz & Combo Teacher/Choreographer

Ms. Morgan's Dance Bio

Morgan has been dancing since she was 2 years old and has participated in many different dance programs over the years. Growing up in Wylie, Texas, Morgan was involved in the Wylie Community Dance Program for several years where she was taught ballet, tap, and jazz. During her years in Junior High and High School, she was a member of her school drill team where she performed routines in various genres of dance such as hip hop, lyrical, and modern. Her drill team participated in summer camps with Showtime International where Morgan was awarded for outstanding performance in dance and showmanship. In addition to summer camps, Morgan was able to travel with her drill team to competitions in San Antonio, Galveston, and Orlando, Florida where the team and its members took away many awards for excellence in the Pom, Military, Jazz, and Production categories. Morgan received a Division 1 Small Ensemble rating for a routine she choreographed and performed with friends in 2007 and a Division 1 Solo rating for a lyrical she choreographed and performed at in 2009. Throughout the years, Morgan has had the opportunity to work with girls in her community to improve their dance ability and help them prepare for tryouts and performances of many kinds. She now attends Texas A&M University – Commerce as a member of the Honors College and is very excited to be able to help young dancers reach their full potential at The Dance Matrix.
