Toni Fisher, Tap & Ballet Teacher/Choreographer

Ms. Toni's Dance Bio

Ms. Toni started dancing when she was three years of age, training largely at Chamberlain School of Performing Arts.  She has trained in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, and dance composition.  At Chamberlain, Toni trained in ballet under teachers who had previously performed with New York City Ballet, Frankfurt Opera Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, and Denton Civic Ballet, among others.  Some of her teachers include Kathy Chamberlain, Suzette Mariaux, Debbie Bray, Jonathan Jones, Shannon Werthmann, and Kevyn Robertson.  In June 2011, Ms. Toni performed with The Hoofin’ Crew, an audition only tap performing group.  She has taught dance to many students and has also been asked to choreograph pieces to be performed by other groups.  Ms. Toni looks for potential in every student and strives to bring out the best in every dancer.  Ms. Toni is currently continuing her dance studies at Collin College, Chamberlain School of Performing Arts, and under Jonathan Jones.
